Background
PIEFZA is developing a major
program of Industrial Estates and Free Zones in Palestine. The
objective of this program is to promote industry and trade and
create additional employment.
Nearly all Industrial Estates
and Free Zones lie on the border between Palestine and
neighboring countries (Israel, Egypt and Jordan) and aim at
enhancing co-existence and promoting the peace process. In
addition, they are equipped with world-class infrastructure
and support services to facilitate efficient business
operations. These services are oriented towards attracting
direct foreign investment and joint ventures in
export-oriented manufacturing activities.

PIEFZA
is the only institution that investors need to deal with to
start up their business. PIEFZA will provide complete
information and services, from operating permits, company
registration, import and export licenses and work permits, to
general information on the investment climate.
Once
application forms are submitted, the permitting and
registration process will take a period from one to six
weeks. PIEFZA is highly value investors’ time.
